The goal here is BOGEY avoidance for all players. We picked & backed Day last season when he won in ealry 2024 at around $27 from memory, All I know I was in the Daintree for our annual holiday after spending all year in the outback. Day was very good last week with a T3 & what it showed us he is back in form & playing healthy. Already awinner x 2 in 2015 & 2018 but also 7 x Top 10s that is crazy good, I only ever back him every now & then as he has been hard to cacth. Around TORREY PINES it is tricky so sticking with a player that has already played it so well as there will be 2 courses. NO doubt he will be lurking around the leader board, I have backed him with 1 unit over on Betfair so I would prefer one of the rougher places selected to upset the Favs but at worse he will give us abold sight. ***If you want SAFE then Day is $3.90 to Top 10.
Alex Smalley	Win	120-1	1.00	LOSS	2ND CHOICE Ã°ÂŸÂ”Â¥: PGA Farmers Insurance Open Torrey Pines Golf Course San Diego, California, USA 22nd January to 25th. Check times as a few bookies have it all over the place. ***Currently 5th in 2025 for SG Total (Strokes Gained) with 2.583 compared to a player who has already won on TOUR in Hideky Mitsuyama (SG 2.961 overall 4th). SMALLEY at 28 is yet to win on the PGA tour but in 2025 he has had 2 x Top 25s in the 2 events he has played, In 2024 he played 30 events & he had 2 x Top 10s, 7 x Top 25s & I reckon he has improved since last season, The 5th in SG total signals that. He just needs to conquer this course. Currently 26th in FED Ex & 150 in the World. The usual 1 unit ($100) and I have him over on Betfair with odds of $120 + $140. I actually prefer Mark Hubbard more though.
