| Wyndham Clark | Win | 75-1 | 1.00 | LOSS | MY INSTINCT PLAY 🎯: PGA Truist Championships Mr Clark I have been following for a while now so this is more my GUT feel, INSTINCTIVE play. I have now backed him twice in the last few weeks, he currently sits in 15th OWGR but IMO not paying up to that ranking, so my reasoning is he can improve plenty which we have seen him do previously. An annoying fact for me is players who are playing with injuries, MATT WALLACE was one lasteek, they should need medical clearance, $$$ are invested, I did read 6 weeks ago that CLARK was slowly working back to fitness, I READ ALOT so interviews have saved us when we got SAM RYDER correct as well to LAY him, it pays to have your eyes open and read everything you can. CLARK is slowly palaying into form, wet weather is a query but I have seen glimpses that saw him in 2023 into 2024 win his x PGA events. It looked like a NEW SUPER HERO had arrived, he did NOT DEFEND his 2024 T & T victory too well in 2025 but again I am seeing glimpses of his former good playing self. PERHAPS I am too harsh as in 2025 in 11 events thus far he has 1 x Top 10 & 4 other Top 25s. Whilst I see him cleay improvig he has in 3 of his last 4 events scored, -15, -8 & -8, that failure in between was 46th @ THE MASTERS. He has however been better in the 2 events this side. Do I think he should be $75? possibly higher than MIN WOO LEE but perhaps like me many are seeing the change in his game. Top 10 is $6.80 & Top 20 @ $3.35. |
| Robert MacIntyre | Win | 80-1 | 1.00 | LOSS | THE SLEEPER ðŸ™Â: PGA Truist Championships Macintyre is in the 4th Group (Group 18) so he TEES off early and plays along side one of the more proven PUTTERS in the field in DENNY MC CARTHY, he can play around him on the greens as MC CARTHY sits a high 8th in SG-PUTTING. Unlike the Scot he is still 0 on PGA Tour and cannot see him winning his maiden event here as where MACINTYRE has already won 5 (2 x PGA) & does have 2 x Top 10s TO HIS CREDIT in 2025 from 10 with 4 in the Top 25. MACINTYRE, I can still recall his win in the 2024 SCOTTISH OPEN in what may well be the same inclement conditions here. The Scot will lean on his main skill in SG OFF the TEE where he sits a high 9th, he is also in 20th in SG TEE to GREEN but surprsingly is ranked #33 in SG APPROACH to GREENS. I want ball strikers with accuracy this week, throw in weather and I think most at tis ELITE level can putt well on any given day, sure some are not as elite on the greens t we have seen amny win events with the putter whe it is not a know strength. In 2025 I atch alot of Golf, this includes players who are not in contention & MAINTYRE is ticking over well. no shock to see him feature here, If i compared him to TOMMY FLEETWOOD I would still lean to MACINTYRE. Like racing we often have to pick who is going to perform not who is so obviosus & as I do not have a copy of the Sport ALMANAC. This is the main $1 pick but if you can afford it $1 for Top 10 @ $6.40 + $3.30 for Top 20. ***If I only had to back 1 player, he is IT. |
| Russell Henley | Win | 38-1 | 1.00 | LOSS | RED 🔥: PGA Truist Championships BULLDOG as he is often referred to knows how to fight, he has often been on my radar and we have won with him previously but he has made more profit for us via Top 10 returns albeit in bigger fields where there is 175 and not 72 players. HENLEY is the more rounded Golfer this week. HENLEY is in Group 21 so Tees off much later but I like LUDVIG ABERG who along with SEPP STRAKA this week but with only 3 picks and LUDVIG around $22 I can not back him so short, no doubt he will be somehwere in the Top handful but if he were around $40 to $50 sure. Back to HENLEY, unlike many here he has already WIN in 2025, in fact he really is in HOT FORM with 5 x Top 10s from only 9 events in 2025. When you dive deep into his stats he is paying near double what ABERG is, makes no sense to me. He is RED HOT in form, also he can start very fast as evident by h 1st day scores of 64 @ RBC Heritage, 63 in the COGNIZANT & 64 @ the AT & T thats just some events, I want aplayer that is aggressive early, I did conder our recent winner IN MWL (Min Woo Lee) he is near $100 which is crazy odds for mine. We cannot back everyone but I may tak myself into a saver with MWL. So you can offset skill sets. For now $1 on BULLDOG to WIN & if you can strecth $1 on Top 10 @ $4.10 |
