| Darren Fichardt | Top 20 | 5.2-1 | 1.00 | WIN | A REPEAT OF LAST WEEK SEES HIM A HOPE 💥: DPWT Joburg Open A -12 last week wth only 3 rounds played, that really should not be the case in any event as you put your money down for 72 holes not 54, it matters. Last week 17 Birdies + 1 Eagle with a few BOGEYS but we have aslo backed him when he won @ +$200, I think I posted it over on Facebook but it was in 2024 and it was off a simialr build up as he was in form for 2 of the 6 weeks before he won. He has also won 5 x on DPWT and this native of SAR at 49 can still give the young players on the move a go. I liked what I saw last week and he is heading into the right type of form at the right time, there are players under $80 that honestly HAVE NO CHANCE, I have backed few so they are frickn hopeless and NON winners on Tour at 35 yrs of age (as an example). Personally not backing IVAN CANTERO from last week, he looked flat after looking a chance. There is a 2 week break before they all head to Singapore, some players looked FATIGUED this early in 2025, it is a worry. Somehow JAYDEN SCHAPER is the Fav @ $20 to Win this week. ***Truth be told I have lost more on him than Won so NOT sure why he is @ $20. I back alot of Golf. ***Top 10 @ $13.50 on Betfair, all my golf is on Betfair + Top 20 @ $5.20 both can figure in the Top markets for money back x Profit. |
| Dale Whitnell | Win | 150-1 | 1.00 | LOSS | HOPING HE SETS UP A BIG LEAD 👊: DPWT Joburg Open Last week he was all over the shop but with only 3 d finished with a T5 with one we often back in ANDREA PAVAN who is no slouch. Now last week he went 72, 63 & 70. That Day 2, 63 was the player I mentioned who some how shot 3 eagles, 7 birdies but yawn he then had the 7th & 11th holes as BOGEY then the 16th a DOUBLE BOGEY to some credit he did birdie the 18th which was a Par 4. Have to give him some credit for resilience. It is why @ $150 you have to think about this English player who has won ONCE on the DPWT and gee if he could clean up some erratic play-behaviour he could spring to an early leaders role. I will play just these 2 in Top 10 & Top 20 markets only, not investing a whole lot in SAR, prefer to spend up over @ PGA events. Top 10 @ $15 & Top 20 @ $7 |
