An unusal slow start in Turkey saw him card rounds of 70, 68, 71 & 64 he rocketed in late for a T7 @ -11. He generally starts quick & he has been in the money of late with a T22 in CHINA, T6 @ HAINAN also in China & he did qualify this week with a sound -8 @ US Qualifying.

***I am hopig he repeats TURKEY as he was slow off the blocks there.

My pref is for BAIRSTOW +1 & even MANASERRO who starts from +2 on Day over Calum Hill, their backs are against the wall so lets see if they fight to survive on Day 2.

The lower odds on offer reflect the expectation on this Englishman who is so close to a win.

If he comes out and goes for it, this is when he plays his best golf, no conservative plays here.

This Scotsman got under my guard when he won at around $160 when winning the JOBURG Open in SAR in early March 2025.

I had been regularly following HILL & CONNOR SYME, so it did not surprise me he won it just annoye me I did not have even a small saver.

So this course is very simialr with its long fairways, what impressein Joburg was his rather low 62 on day 4. He is showing glimpses of his old former self so at these odds he ly has to keep that projectory I am seeing in the background.

I would have him higher up than 30% of those in the under $60 market on betfair, he needs to start strong though. I have him more Top 20 than top 10, it all comes from his day 1 effort.

Is watching to see how he lined up against the Top 100 in the OWGR last week in the USA.

FRESH from his recent Maiden win on the DPWT @ HAINAN Classic in China he was excellent carding a 68, 71 to then ramp it up big time to go 65 & 67 to WIN with a good -17.

Last week in PGA Major he actually finished in T28, it was a stellar effort as he was CUT from the TURKISH open & a smany suggest the excitement from his 1st win can last a bit, IT DID NOT he bounced back against a strongerne up of the Top 100 in THE WORLD.

He can rely on his DRIVING accuracy here, he is on tour 17th, 5th in SG Off the TEE, a very high 6th in GREENS in REGULATION @ 74.37%.

GIR is significant as the tour Avg is 66%.

It also helps he sits comfortably high @ 5th in SG Total.

Playing very well and he did not have to qualify recently but still flew home from USA, they are all used to travel. He is my #1 pick and I have backed him Top 10 as well @ $7

Another NON winner on DPWT, how who knows but this SWEDE has WON 4 other events between 2010 to 2022.

He did finish 2nd here in 2023 behind SIMON FORSTROMM with -16 so close enough, I like him OFF the TEE and he should be able to hang on APPROACH to the GREEN, we just need him to tidy up around the greens, that is his weakness, Putting.

I did have ROMAIN LANGASQUE as hes a T2nd here in 2024 however he retired after playing R1 in the US Qualifying round during the week, so I AM AVOIDING HIM until he proces he is fit.

So I mentioned 2 x Players to watch who return from PGA Campaigns, this is one of those but on a course that usually rewards those with accuracy OFF THE TEE.

This course fits him, from the OLYMPICS in 2024 to now he has been in FAR BETTER form than it reads, he is a WINNER X 5 on the DPWT & ignore his DPWT R2D ranking as he only has played 2 here so far, he has played 11 events in the USA & has 2 x Top 25s.

Of the 11 events he has 5 notable efforts with -12, -11, -7, -22 & -10.

He can feature here, He has been competing against more elite players, this is far easier & I also have him for TOP 10 @ $6.
